Carnival Extends Promotional Airship Tour to Las Vegas, Phoenix

Carnival Cruise Line has extended its #ChooseFun AirShip tour with two five-day visits to Las Vegas and Phoenix. The blimp has already spent a month touring California, where it visited the state’s major cities to promote the arrival of Carnival’s first new ship to homeport on the West Coast in 20 years.

The Carnival Airship began its tour of Las Vegas Saturday, February 2 with aerial visits to travel agent events and iconic spots on The Strip. After spending five days there, the blimp will make its way to Arizona, where it will devote another five days to flying over Phoenix’s major neighborhoods and venues starting February 13.

Carnival will continue the charity component of the AirShip tour. For every person who takes a picture of the blimp and posts it on social media with the hashtag ‘ChooseFun,’ the company will donate two dollars to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for up to a maximum donation of $20,000. Additionally, Carnival is still running its promotional Choose Fun sweepstakes where consumers have the chance to win a free cruise as well as additional prizes each week when they enter at carnival.com/choosefun.

Debuting December 2019, the Carnival Panorama will join the Carnival Imagination and Carnival Inspiration on the West Coast, bringing the line’s regional capacity to over 600,000 guests per year. Carnival Panorama will sail an inaugural three-day cruise from Long Beach on December 11 and then begin its regular year-round, seven-day Mexican Riviera sailings on December 14.
