Karnataka: These rural students will fly to US to showcase innovations
BENGALURU: Students from Soladevanahalli high school in Bengaluru are all set to fly to the US to participate in a science exhibition where they would represent India.
The students have invented a cycle, drone and farmer-friendly accessories and will present their innovations in the exhibition in the US.
The 10th standard students, M Janardhan and MR Madhu Kumar of the school have invented a cycle which can be used for farming.
They invested Rs 18,000 to make the cycle. Another student of the same school invented a drone for farmers in which other students helped them in fetching the required material.

The students said that their head mistress T Devika was of great help to them and assisted them in whatever manner she could.
Now that the students have been selected to attend the science exhibition in the US, the school authorities are trying to get some financial help for them so that they can travel smoothly.
