Coronation Street star Julie Goulding has tied the knot.

The Corrie actress married her boyfriend of three years, Ben Silver.

The pair revealed they'd wed in this week's OK! magazine.

The pair tied the knot at Manchester’s Albert Hall in front of friends, family and co-stars.

The actress and her teacher husband have kept their relationship extremely private.

In fact, Julie - who plays Shona in the ITV soap - only revealed she was a bride-to-be last month.

Her reveal came a staggering 10 months after Ben popped the question.

Julia confessed why they chose Manchester’s Albert Hall for their wedding venue, saying: “I love being on stage and I always wanted to get married on one!’

The 33-year-old said: “I told Ben I’d marry him a week after our first date!”

Ben, a teacher, added: “We really got to know each other in that week.

“It was ridiculous, as it was 100 miles an hour.

"We kind of did nothing but everything at the same time.

“At the end of the week I remember telling Julia that I loved her.”

The couple have been together for three years.

Julia said: “At one point, Tina [O’Brien] was trying to do a Dirty Dancing lift with my friend Kylie and Lucy [Fallon, who plays Tina’s on-screen daughter] was shouting: ‘Mum, no don’t!’

“It was carnage by the end.

"It was ace; everyone let their hair down!”

30-year-old Ben told the magazine: “As soon as I saw Julia, I just knew it was the best day of my life.”

The couple decided to walk down together hand in hand, and Julia said: “It was important for us to walk down the aisle together and my parents aren’t traditional.

“My dad didn’t mind not giving me away as he believes I’m my own person.

"I can totally understand why people do it, but the way we did it felt right for Ben and I.”
