PATNA: Police on Friday arrested three more people in connection with alleged gang-rape of a 20-year-old girl at Patthar Ghatti village under the Korobari police station area in Kishanganj district on February 5.
With this, four of the six accused named in the FIR have been arrested by the police. While one Mohammad Kasim (32) was arrested on Thursday, the three arrested on Friday were identified as Abdul Mannan (27), Kalua (28) and Ansar Alam (33).
Kishanganj SDPO Akhilesh Kumar said the medical report clearly stated that the girl was raped.
“Two more accused – Faiz Alam (30) and Takhseer Alam (30) – are still at large. Raids are on to arrest them,” the SDPO added.
The six had allegedly taken turn to rape the girl in a nearby field after tying the hands and legs of her father and blindfolding him around 2am on February 5.
