29 IPS officers shifted, Ajay new Patna traffic SP

PATNA: The state government has transferred 29 IPS officers, including SPs of Bhojpur, Sitamarhi and Kaimur districts Monday night.
SP (EOU) Ajay Kumar Pandey has been made Patna (traffic) SP, replacing Prakash Nath Mishra, who after promotion has been posted as DIG in Criminal Investigation Department. Ravindra Kumar, who was also promoted recently, will be DIG Tirhut range.
Assistant director at BPA, Parwez Akhtar, has been made DIG-cum-deputy director of newly built Bihar Police Academy at Rajgir in Nalanda district.
Home guard commandant Rajeev Ranjan will be DIG in State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) while Bihar Military Police (BMP-16) commandant Sunil Kumar has been made assistant (inspection) to IG. Kumar was replaced by Mounted Military Police (MMP) commandant in Ara, Pushkar Anand.
Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar had been posted as MMP commandant in place of Anand.
Sitamarhi SP Sujeet Kumar has been made superintendent of rail police (SRP) in Patna in place of Ashok Kumar Singh, who has been transferred to Muzaffarpur in the same capacity. BMP-11 commandant in Jamui, Shafiul Haq, has been made commandant of BMP-6 in Muzaffarpur. He will also hold the additional charge of commandant, BMP-15 at Bagaha.
PK Das has replaced Amarkesh as Patna City SP (Central), who has been sent to Sitamarhi in Sujeet’s place. State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) commandant Vinod Kumar replaced Haq in Jamui.
Kaimur SP Mohammad Faroguddin has been made SDRF commandant. Begusarai SP Awakash Kumar has been given additional charge of BMP-8 commandant in his district after PK Das’s transfer to Patna.
Jhanjharpur SDPO Yogendra Kumar has been appointed City SP Darbhanga while ASP (probation) Kiran Kumar Gorakh Jadhav, who was posted in Bhagalpur, has been made new Patna Sadar SDPO in place of Sushant Kumar Saroj, who has been sent to Bhagalpur as City SP. Kahalgaon SDPO Dilanawaz Ahmed has been made new Kaimur SP.
Neeraj Kumar Singh has been posted as City SP, Muzaffarpur. ASP (Prohibition, CID) Rajeev Ranjan-II has been posted as SP (security) in Special Branch with additional charge of Special Security Group (SSG) commandant. Bodh Gaya SDPO Raman Kumar Chaudhary has been posted as BMP-2 commandant at Dehri-on-Sone. He will hold additional charge of women’s battalion commandant. Begusarai SDPO Manoj Kumar Tiwari has been made commandant, Home Guards in Patna.
ASP (CID) Shailesh Kumar Sinha has been posed in the same wing as SP while Sheohar ASP Satyanarayan Kumar will be assistant (training) to IG in Patna. ASP Mithilesh Kumar, who was posted with Muzaffarpur zonal IG office, has been appointed as SP-cum-assistant director of Civil Defence in Patna. ASP, Bihar Police Academy, Ramashankar Rai has been made assistant director of Bihar Police Academy at Rajgir.
ASP (EOU) Sushil Kumar, after promotion, has been posted as SP in same wing while ASP Vijay Prasad has been appointed Nathnagar CTS principal.
