Kaveri Seed, PNC Infratech among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 231.69 points up at 35,584.30 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Bhilwara Tech (down 16.41 per cent) , TCI Finance (down 14.22 per cent) , Solitaire Machine Tools (down 12.35 per cent), Rasi Electrodes (down 11.50 per cent), Velan Hotels (down 10.55 per cent), Kanel Industries (down 9.27 per cent), Prime Property (down 9.09 per cent), Vardhman Polytex (down 8.98 per cent) , Shri Bajrang (down 8.47 per cent) and Keltech Energies (down 8.14 per cent) were among the worst performers.

Kaveri Seed Company (down 8 per cent) and PNC Infratech (down 6.26 per cent) too declined 6-8 per cent at around the same time.

In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks were trading in the green, while 10 stocks were in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 70.15 points up at 10,674.50.
