Film compares health care here to that in the U.S.

Palliser Friends of Medicare will be showing a film and hosting discussion about health care in the U.S. compared to universal health care in Alberta.

The public is invited to attend the event on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Medicine Hat Public Library, 414 First St. SE.

The film – “Now is the Time: Healthcare for Everybody” – will look at gaps in the affordable care act in the U.S. and explore the pressures in Alberta.
