A new short film by Emeryville-based Pixar tells the touching story of an unlikely friendship between a sweet pit bull and kitten.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A new short film by Emeryville-based Pixar tells the touching story of an unlikely friendship between a sweet pit bull and kitten.

The story is called "Kitbull" and its based in San Francisco.

"Kitbull" is about a fiercely independent stray kitten and a pit bull in the San Francisco's Mission District.

Together, they experience friendship for the first time.
