As the March 24 election nears, the number of opinion polls have increased. On Sunday, one poll in particular caught my eyes. Super Poll announced the result of a survey, which I unofficially translate to "The Public’s Concern During Election Season". What made this poll stand out is that when they asked people about their specs for PM candidates, they use cryptic descriptions such as "Man in his 50s. Former leader of this country with high position" and "Man in his 40s. Former exec. A political activist." Instead of simply using their actual names like other polls? They did that to avoid violating any election rules, perhaps.
Anywhoo, inspired by their hinting and phraseology, I devised a crossword puzzle for your entertainment and to test your knowledge on our PM candidates. If you get them all, congratulations on keeping abreast of Thai politics, like you should.
ACROSS

3. Very outspoken about reforming the army. High-ranking police officer. He’s 70 years old but doesn’t look it, at all.
DOWN
1. Has penned seven songs and several poems. Has a friend who likes to buy weapons.
2. Former PM. A football fan. The last time his party won an election was in 1992.
3. Younger voters knows her for her hot daughter. Older voters remember her as former minister of public health and agriculture and cooperatives.
4. The first prime ministerial candidate who’s MTF transgender.
