Hugely popular London restaurant Rosa’s Thai is due to open the first branch outside of the capital at the Albert Dock in Liverpool.

Launched by Saiphin Moore and her husband Alex in London’s iconic Brick Lane in 2008, the Thai restaurant has since took London by storm.

It now has various venues in the most renowned areas of the the capital city but when Saiphin decided to expand the brand further, she knew that Liverpool would be the best place to start.

Saiphin said: "We can’t wait to open our doors in Liverpool and are so excited to become part of the city’s thriving food scene, I’m already working on some Liverpool specials to launch later in the year.

"As one of the first cities to open up trade links with Asia, we couldn’t think of a better place than Liverpool to open our first restaurant outside of London - especially in a location with such enviable views across the historic Royal Albert Docks."
