445 summer special trains from Secunderabad

HYDERABAD: Around 445 summer special trains will originate from Secunderabad railway station, announced South Central Railway (SCR) in a press release. With the elections around the corner, people from Hyderabad are looking at reservations for destinations in Andhra Pradesh such as Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Vijayanagaram, Srikakulam Road and Vizag.
SCR officials said they have studied previous summer rushes and found that demand was high on routes where special trains have been announced. Most summer special trains will be running from the end of March till the of June. Thirty-six services are between Kacheguda and Kakinada Town, while 34 services are between Kacheguda and Tatanagar.
About 17 trains will run between Vizag and Kacheguda. In view of the pilgrims' rush in Tirupati, 51 services were announced from Tirupati to Kacheguda and Vizag.
