Board chairman Anand Kishor said that examinations have been conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents. He said though the matriculation examination ended peacefully across the state without any major hiccup, a lot of students were booked for adopting unfair means during the examination.
During the exams, it was witnessed that the students had shown a positive response towards the new format of state education board which include multiple options in long-type questions and short questions and the weightage of higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) was also reduced in objective-type questions.
