Humsafar Express to ease Surat-Mumbai travel

RAJKOT: The Saurashtra region got the second luxurious train after Duronto. The new train Humsafar Express will run between Jamnagar and Bandra in Mumbai on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The train has new facilities like passenger announcement, fire and smoke detection system, CCTV with display monitor, fire retardant curtains, baby toilet seat, etc.
Rajkot divisional railway manager P B Ninave said, “The train will be useful for passengers going to Surat and Mumbai as it reaches Surat at 6.30am after covering the distance during the night.It will allow people to reach Mumbai in the morning.”
