Gudur alleges there was No Democratic Rule in State

Hyderabad: Congress party’s MLC candidate G. Narayana Reddy on Tuesday turned emotional and alleged that the ruling party leaders had broken the dreams of his mother to see him in MLC posiiton.

Addressing media persons after the declaration of the MLC results, Reddy thanked party president Rahul Gandhi and leaders Sonia Gandhi TPCC N. Uttam Kumar Reddy for giving him an opportunity to contest as the MLC. He said that he would have become the MLC if his party MLCs did not defect into rival TRS party. Reddy alleged that CM KCR was trying to make his son KTR as the next of the state and added that there was no democratic rule in the state. He opined that the state would have a good rule if its opposition party was strong and active.
