The New Zealander defeated the Guernsey star 8-5, 10-5 in the final at Warilla in Australia.

It was Beere's third consecutive final at the prestigious event and the second time she has lost out to Edwards in the showpiece match, having also be beaten in 2017.

Beere won the title in 2018, having overcome Edwards in the semi-final on that occasion before beating Rebecca Van Asch from Australia in the final.
