Andhra Pradesh assembly elections: Chandrababu Naidu to kick start campaign from Srikakulam

VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to kick-start his election tour in the north-coastal Andhra Pradesh on March 16. Speaking to TOI, TDP’s Srikakulam district president Gouthu Sireesha, who is also a contestant for Palasa assembly segment, said that Naidu will conduct the first election campaign in Srikakulam town at Kodirama Murthy stadium at 06:00pm.
The chief minister will interact with booth-level workers and party cadre at the meet where nearly 30,000 party activists were expected, Sireesha added.She said that Naidu will not take government accommodation and will take his night-halt at his own bus in front of the party office in Srikakulam town on Saturday night and leave for Viziangaram on March 17.
The district president added that Naidu wanted to cover all 13 districts within three days from March 16.
