Bengaluru: Anti-Corruption Bureau raids 4 government officials, their relatives

The raids were conducted simultaneously in Bengaluru, Vijayapura, Gadag and Hassan on the houses and offices of these officers.

Bengaluru: In an early morning exercise, sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the houses and offices of four government officers across the state, including in Bengaluru.

The raids were conducted simultaneously in Bengaluru, Vijayapura, Gadag and Hassan on the houses and offices of these officers.

The ACB sleuths raided the office of Satish B.C., Controller at the Department of Cooperatives in Basaveshwar Nagar and the house of his relative in RPC Layout.

Similarly, raids were conducted at the office and house of Manjunath S.P., a BBMP Assistant Revenue Officer of Jivanbima Nagar sub-division in Nayandahalli, and his relative’s house in Channarayapatna in Hassan.

The sleuths recovered important documents from the houses and offices of the two officers and are examining them. The two allegedly had properties disproportionate to their known sources of income.

The officials also raided the houses and offices of Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Ltd (KRIDL) Deputy Director Sharad Gangappa Ijeri and Agricultural Officer in Raitha Samparka Kendra in Mundargi in Gadag.

The cops have recovered several documents related to properties.
