Kalaburagi: Arrest MLA Narayan for remarks against Modi, says Doddappa Gowda

Kalaburagi: Strongly condemning Basavakalyana Congress MLA B Narayan's 'derogatory' utterances against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kalaburagi Rural BJP District President Doddappa Gowda Patil Naribol has demanded that the District Electoral Officer suo motu take action against the MLA and immediately arrest him.

At a media conference, Mr Naribol warned that if the District Electoral Officer failed to take action, they will complain to the State Election Commissioner as well as the Chief Election Commissioner. “We will also stage a protest,” Mr Naribol added.

While terming the PM as “namard”, Mr Narayan had remarked that Mr Modi is not a prime minister who works but a prime minister who lies.
