The CHP is getting to know more about driverless cars. They attended a presentation given by Google driver-less car company Waymo in San Jose on how to interact with the vehicles.

CHP Sergeant Daniel Hill says yesterday’s training included how to rescue passengers from the vehicle and how to disable it. CHP is hoping to avoid repeating a situation involving Tesla last year where they had to call the car company for information on how to disable a battery. Waymo has not said when consumers will be able to use the self-driving cars.
