BENGALURU: Ending weeks of dilly-dallying, former PM HD Deve Gowda has reportedly decided to contest from Tumakuru constituency in the
Lok Sabha elections. The patriarch will file nomination papers on Monday, an aide said.
The JD(S) leaders who held parleys at Gowda's residence in Bengaluru late Friday night took a decision in this regard, sources said. All JD(S) MLAs and leaders from Tumakuru attended the meeting.
Confirming the development, JD(S) MLA from Sira, K Satyanarayana, told reporters that Gowda will file his papers between 2pm and 3pm on Monday.
