Polling began at 7.30am.
MUMBAI: Despite a heat wave, voters are lining up to exercise their franchise for the Palghar Municipal Council polls on Sunday.
Till 11.30am around 26 per cent voting was reported from the 62 polling booths. The polling for the 26 seats will end at 5.30pm.
The Shiv Sena-BJP alliance is fighting it out along with the Congress-NCP-Bahujan Vikas Aghadi combine.

Each of the 14 wards has two corporators. Two seats have been won unopposed by the saffron alliance.
Polling began at 7.30am and no untoward incident has been reported.
