An Edgeley, N.D., resident has a $1 million Powerball lottery ticket that was drawn Saturday evening, the North Dakota Lottery said Monday.
A Powerball Pick & Click online play ticket purchased in North Dakota for the Saturday, March 23 drawing, matched all five white balls (24,25, 52, 60 and 66) which makes it worth $1 million. The Powerball number that was drawn was 5 and was not a match with the Edgeley ticket. The Power Play multiplier was 3.
The winner has yet to file a prize claim form.
There have been three North Dakota residents to match five Powerball numbers in less than three months, said Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery. This is the second $1 million Powerball winning ticket to be purchased via Pick & Click this year, he said.
