The Delhi BJP unit on Monday began preparations to inaugurate its election office for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections at its State headquarters here.

A bhoomi pujan followed by a havan was held on the eve of the party’s plans to undertake five election rallies in as many parliamentary constituencies across the Capital.

The party’s National Organisation General Secretary Ramlal said the party would now begin preparatory activities for the elections in the city.

Meanwhile, the party announced it would hold five rallies across the Capital on Tuesday.

Union Home Minister Singh and Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari will address the North-East Delhi workers at the Yamuna Vihar District Office.

Delhi BJP co-incharge Tarun Chugh will address the workers at Ghaffar Market, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan in East Delhi, Lok Sabha elections, co-incharge Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya in Chandni Chowk and national spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi in west Delhi parliamentary constituency.
