RRB JE application status link activated; check details here

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the link to check the application status for Junior Engineer posts.
Through this link, candidates can check their application status. Candidates can access their RRB JE application status through candidate login by entering their Registration ID and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
For checking the application status, candidates will have to visit their regional RRB website.

The Railway Recruitment Board, Ministry of Railways, Government of India had invited application Dated December 29, 2018 through CEN No.03/2018 for Recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA)}.
The application for the above mentioned posts started at 10:00 am on January 2, 2019. The last date to apply was January 31, 2019. The offline fee was paid up to February 4, 2019 while candidates were allowed to deposit application fee online up to February 5, 2019.
The first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) is tentatively scheduled during April/May 2019.
Around 13,487 vacancies are to be filled through this examination. The candidates who have registered for the Recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts can visit the official website of the RRB to check further details on the same.
The modification to the registration and application details can be done twice only.
The step by step procedure for modification of the application shall be as below
1) Login using Registration Number and Password
2) Pay modification fee through any of the modes available for actual examination fee payment. Ensure payment is done well within the date and time prescribed.
3) Click on the 'Modify Application' Button.
4) Proceed with the changes intended as per instructions given and submit the application. Preserve the print out of latest application for record.
Hall Ticket (E-Call Letter) For CBT
SMS and email messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the e-Call letter and upload details on their registered mobile number and email ID.
There shall be two stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
RRB-wise shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 15 times (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration). The shortlisting of 2nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in 1st Stage CBT. The RRB-wise shortlisted candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be advised through the official websites of RRBs and e-mail to download their e-call letter for appearing in the 2nd Stage CBT.
Negative Marking
There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
