Even BJP-Congress combine may not get majority, regional parties will be in power: KCR

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today criticized BJP and the Congress for campaigning against each other and criminally ignoring welfare of people in general elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and AICC president Rahul Gandhi are involved in making allegations against each other.

Addressing an election campaign meeting in Miryalaguda, Chief Minister KCR appealed to the people to vote for the TRS and enable it to win 16 MP seats to resolve its pending issues at the national level. He also assured people that he would resolve land issues and asked the people to wait till ensuing elections are over. He said the TRS with 16 MPs in its hands will be in a position to dictate terms to the Centre. “As a son of a farmer, I am aware of related problems and will resolve them in one-and-a-half month after polls”. He also strictly exhorted people not to give a rupee as bribe to any revenue official.

KCR accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of miserably failing to deliver goods to people and denying reservations to ST and Muslim Minorities. He also alleged that both Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi were making ridiculous political comment and the people will teach them a lesson in the elections. The Telangana Chief Minister said that as per a survey, the BJP will get 150 seats and the Congress about 100 seats in Lok Sabha and cannot form government at the Centre even if they join hands. Therefore, he said, he will take a lead in the national politics after the general elections

KCR pointed out that the two national parties have miserably failed to develop the nation, which was facing water and electricity problem, irrigation projects and development for the past 70 years. He wondered that both the parties, which ruled the country for seven decades, could not utilize the plenty of water resources in the country and rid the State like Rajasthan of its chronic ills. “Therefore, I will float a new party for qualitative change at national level. The regional parties will play a key role of federal spirit at the Centre as the people would reject both the BJP and the Congress”.

The Chief Minister asserted that the regional parties in the country would form a coalition as the people will throw out these two parties in the polls. He also expressed anguish at the comments against him by BJP Telangana president K Lakshman. KCR warned that Lakshman will face music after a month and should not talk nonsense. TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy failed to keep promise of quitting politics if defeated in the polls. Uttam will lose the TPCC chief post and all MP candidates will lose polls.
