Bihar Board Result 2019: Rohini and Pawan, Class 12th state topper

PATNA: Rohini Prakash of Nalanda and Pawan Kumar of Arwal were emerged as the state topper in intermediate examination, the results of which were announced by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Saturday. Both the class XII toppers were from science stream and secured 94.6%.
Of total 500 marks Rohini scored 473.
Sharing her happiness, Rohini from Plus-2 High School Sarbahdi, Nalanda told TOI over the phone that she worked hard and studied 12-13 hours per day for class XII board examination.
“I made a time-table for my studies and strictly followed it,” she said.
Born to Mahesh Prasad, a junior engineer in Bihar government and home-maker Pragati Kumari, Rohini wants to become an IAS officer. “I appeared for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main I, and scored 98.76 percentile. I will also appear for JEE Main II which is to be held in April to further improve my scoring,” she said.
Rohini did her matriculation from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui and secured 86%. Her brother Rohit Prakash is also studying engineering from VIT Vellore.
Pawan told this newspaper that he ensured he studies regularly every day throughout the year and also practised sample papers of all subjects for an hour every day. “I studied 11 hours per day during the exam apart from attending coaching classes in Jehanabad. To relieve some stress, I also took time off for other extra-curricular activities,” he said.

He scored 98 in mathematics, 96 in physics, 94 in chemistry, 95 in English and 90 in NRB Hindi-MB English. He did his class XII and X from Government High School Kinjar, Arwal. He scored 87.6 in class X.
Pawan’s father Sunil Kumar Singh who works as a driver in Jharkhand police said his son made him proud. His mother Kumari Madhuri Sinha work as Anganbadi sewika in Arwal.
Pawan wants to crack National Defence Academy exam and would take admission at premiere institute in Delhi.
