Bihar class 12 joint toppers Rohini and Pawan share their study plan

Rohini Prakash of Nalanda and Pawan Kumar of Arwal, who secured 94.6% each to emerge as joint toppers in science stream in BSEB Intermediate examinations, were on cloud nine on Saturday after the declaration of results.
Rohini, who scored 473 out of 500 marks, told this newspaper over the phone that she studied hard for 12-13 hours per day for Class XII examinations.
"I prepared a routine for my studies and adhered to it," she said. Born to Mahesh Prasad, a junior engineer in Bihar government and homemaker Pragati Kumari, Rohini wants to become an IAS officer. "I appeared for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main I and scored 98.76 percentile. I will also appear for JEE Main II which will be held in April," she said. Rohini did her matriculation from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui and secured 86%. Her brother Rohit Prakash is also studying engineering at VIT-Vellore.
Pawan said he practised sample papers of all subjects for an hour every day. "I studied 11 hours per day during the exam apart from attending coaching classes in Jehanabad. To relieve stress, I also took time off for extra-curricular activities," he said. Pawan's father Sunil Kumar Singh, who works as a driver in Jharkhand Police, said his son made him proud. Pawan's mother Kumari Madhuri Sinha is an anganwadi sevika in Arwal. The boy aspires to crack National Defence Academy exam.
