AGRA: Uttar Pradesh Board's high school and intermediate exam evaluation process is near completion but 54 colleges of Agra district are yet to send internal evaluation marks of the examinees to it. The situation is likely to delay declaration of results.
All the affiliated colleges were required to upload internal evaluation marks on the Board's website before exams commenced on February 7. But due to lack of proper monitoring by secondary education department officials, several schools have so far not completed the process.

The Board authorities have sent a list of schools which have not sent internal evaluation marks to the office of district inspectors of schools (DIOS). The list includes names of schools which have not sent internal evaluation marks of Class X students. Each subject is given 30 marks - mainly awarded on basis of assignments and class tests. For Class XII, marks of physical education, which is a compulsory subject, have to be sent.
According to secondary education department records, internal evaluation marks of 349 students have not been sent by 54 schools of the district. Of these, 177 are high school students while 172 are intermediate.
DIOS Ravindra Kumar said, "Notices are being issued to schools who have not submitted internal evaluation marks of students. Besides, they have been informed on phone that results of students can get delayed if internal marks are not uploaded on the website within the next two-three days. The evaluation process in Agra and several other districts has already ended."
