Komatireddy taken out bike rally, road shows in Bhongir

Hyderabad: Congress candidate Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today organized a bike rally and a road show in Bhongir town. MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Kumbham Anil Kumar Reddy, Gudur Narayana Reddy took part in the road show.

Speaking on the occasion, Venkat Reddy said he had resigned from minister’s post after seeing suicides of Telangana farmers during separate State agitation three years before his tenure. He also reminded he went on 14-day hunger strike demanding formation of separate Telangana State at Nalgonda.

He alleged that KCR came to power by making false promises to the people. Pointing out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always claims that he was a “chaiwala”, Komatireddy said the Prime Minister had never done anything for the development of the poor people in the country. He also alleged that Modi cheated the people by promising to bring back black money from abroad and deposit Rs 15 lakh in each bank account of the people. He also alleged that Modi did not take any steps to curb soaring prices of petrol and diesel.

Venkat Reddy said he was contesting from Bhongir for its development. He alleged that the sitting MP Boora Narsaiah Goud was ignorant of burning problems of the public in the constituency. He said the sitting MP did nothing to develop the area despite having Rs one lakh crore budget. He exhorted the people to vote for him. MLA Rajagopal Reddy also spoke.
