Dubai model gold market in Mangalagiri: Nara Lokesh

Promising to set up an exclusive gold market in Mangalagiri on the lines of Dubai gold-street, IT and PR minister Nara Lokesh has said that they will constitute a separate corporation for the welfare of goldsmith community. He said that goldsmith of Mangalagiri are highly talented and needed to get international exposure.

MANGALAGIRI: Promising to set up an exclusive gold market in Andhra Pradesh's Mangalagiri on the lines of Dubai gold-street, IT and PR minister Nara Lokesh has said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would constitute a separate corporation for the welfare of goldsmith community. He said that goldsmith of Mangalagiri are highly talented and needed to get international exposure.
Lokesh, campaigning for the Mangalagiri assembly constituency, interacted with the local goldsmiths during the campaign in the constituency.
Speaking to the locals, Lokesh said that jewellery market would be made part of the tourism agenda to promote the local artisans. He said that they would also grant at least Rs 2,000 crore loans from the BC bank promised in the TDP agenda exclusively for goldsmiths.
He had also promised to take necessary measures to prevent police harassment against the goldsmiths. He said that all the goldsmiths in the constituency would be granted pucca houses soon after TDP returning to power.
“We are readying a separate manifesto for goldsmith community development. We will implement each and every promise made in the manifesto,” said Lokesh.
Lokesh said that they would also set up turmeric research centre in Duggirala and provide sufficient marketing facilities for turmeric. He said that the government would initiate measures to see that each and every family earns at least Rs 15,000 per month. He said that they would chalk out plans for development and welfare of all the communities.
Lokesh said that they would grant land for construction of a shadi khana and idgah for Muslim community. He promised to resolve the long-pending house sites allocation litigation in Navuluru, Atmakur and Tadepalle. He said that every eligible family would be granted pucca house in the constituency. He said that they would take special measures to provide houses to the poor in Tadepalle municipality.
He said that they would set up a skill-development centre in Mangalagiri to provide training to the unemployed youth. He said that Mangalagiri would shortly become IT hub as he had already launched several firms in the town. He said that thousands of local youth would get jobs right in the local IT firms. He promised to provide irrigation water to entire Krishna delta ayucut in the constituency. He promised to see that the pending works on the lift irrigation scheme were completed within no time after the elections.
