NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has declared the result of Civil Services Examination, 2018 on its official website today i.e., April 5, 2019. The candidates who have appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2018 can visit the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in- to check and download their result.
Kanishak Kataria, B Tech from IIT Bombay, bagged the first rank in the UPSC final exam results.
Srushti Jayant Deshmukh is the topper among women candidates, securing an overall fifth rank.
Akshat Jain, IIT Guwahati Graduate, bagged second rank in the UPSC 2018 exam. He was followed by Junaid Ahmad of Jamia Millia Islamia's Residential Coaching Academy.
The candidates who have qualified in the Civil Services Examination will be appointed (in order of merit) to Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

The official notification reads “Based on the results of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2018 held by the Union Public Service Commission in September-October, 2018 and the interviews for Personality Test held in February-March, 2019, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:

(i) Indian Administrative Service
(ii) Indian Foreign Service
(iii) Indian Police Service
(iv) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’”

759 candidates, with 577 men and 182 women, have qualified for the appointment to the Indian Administrative Services.
UPSC conducted Civil Services written examination in September and October, 2018. Personality Test was conducted in February and March, 2019.

1) Go to the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in
2) On the homepage click on the link which reads “Civil Services Examination, 2018 Results”
3) It will direct to a new page, where the Civil Services Examination, 2018 results will be displayed
4) Press Control key, F (ctrl+F) and type your roll number
5) Download your Civil Services Examination, 2018 result for the future reference
