Toxic air pollution near Ghazipur drain area

Civic agencies that are responsible for maintaining the drain are violating NGT and court orders by not properly monitoring the work done by contractors who are hired by them. The contractor who is supposed to remove all toxic garbage and drainage silt is burning the waste in the area itself, causing severe health issues to residents of nearby apartments (Indraprastha, Sagar Sadan, Vidhi, Kurmanchal).We are suffering from lung diseases caused due to prolonged exposure to this toxic air pollution. Action must be taken against those responsible in the department and the contractors paid by the department.
