BENGALURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a BJP rally at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru on Saturday evening. The rally is expected to start at around 4.30 pm.
This is PM's second rally in Karnataka in a space of four days. On Tuesday, he addressed campaign rallies at Chitradurga and Mysuru.

Saturday's rally targets the voters of Bengaluru North, Bengaluru South, Bengaluru Rural and Chikkaballapur Lok Sabha seats. The last two seats also consist of some BBMP areas.

BJP campaign committee head R.Ashoka, who inspected the rally arragnements at the Palace Grounds, said it was a lucky venue for the party. In 2014 too, Modi addressed election rallies and they not only drew large crowds, but also resulted in the party coming to power at the Centre and Modi becoming the PM.

The party is expecting a turnout of two lakh plus voters, and hence, has installed 11 large LCDs screens. According to Ashok, as many as 11,000 people have registered through the online to participate in the rally on Saturday.

The police have made all security arrangements. The roads leading to Palace Grounds will see huge traffic jams on Saturday.
