Patna: Bajrang Dal leader stabbed to death in Bhagalpur

At least a dozen of youths stabbed to death a Bajrang Dal leader Krishna Dev Raj (26) near Sandish compound under Tilka Manjhi police station area in Bhagalpur town on Thursday night.

PATNA: At least a dozen youths stabbed to death a Bajrang Dal leader near Sandish compound under Tilka Manjhi police station area in Bihar's Bhagalpur town on Thursday night.
Krishna Dev Raj (26) was also a boxer and a martial arts player and used to impart their training to children in the area where he was killed.
Tilka Manjhi police station SHO Mithilesh Kumar said that the killing was a fallout of Raj’s dispute with few youths a day before at his training centre.

“Some youths had reached at his centre and during an altercation, they tore the punching bag which was kept for training by Raj. It was after this incident that he was stabbed to death on Friday,” he said.
SHO Kumar said that none were arrested yet but some suspects were detained and were being quizzed.
He said that few youths, who had attempted to rescue Raj from being stabbed, were also attacked by the assailants resulting into injury to them too.
Police said that the injured youths were identified as Shanu Kumar, Ritesh Kumar and Shyam Kumar.
“They had received injuries from a sharp-edged object too but were completely out of danger,” police said.
Police said that the deceased was a native of Pirpainti in Bhagalpur and his body was handed over to his maternal uncle with whom he used to live.
