PM to address rallies in Araria, Darbhanga
PATNA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address election rallies in Araria and Darbhanga on April 20 and April 25 respectively.
BJP sources said PM will address a public meeting in favour of party candidate for Araria Lok Sabha seat, Pradip Kumar Singh. His next rally will be held in Darbhanga in favour of BJP candidate Gopal Ji Thakur.
Araria goes to polls on April 23 while election in Darbhanga is scheduled on April 29.

Earlier, PM Modi addressed three election rallies in the state, but all in favour of the candidates of allies LJP and JD(U). On April 2, he addressed public meetings in Jamui and Gaya in favour of LJP candidate Chirag Paswan and JD(U)’s Vijay Manjhi, respectively.
On April 11, the PM addressed another election rally at Bhagalpur seeking votes in favour of JD(U) candidate Ajay Kumar Mandal.
A day before the PM’s proposed meeting in Darbhanga, BJP president Amit Shah will address three election rallies in Munger, Begusarai and Ujiarpur constituencies on April 24 in favour of the NDA candidates.
BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand said Shah would reach Munger around 9am on April 24 by a helicopter and address an election rally for JD(U) candidate Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh. After Munger, Shah would address a rally at Begusarai around 10.30am in favour of BJP candidate and Union minister Giriraj Singh.
Shah would address another public meeting around 12.30pm in Ujiarpur to seek votes for BJP state president and party’s candidate Nityanand Rai.
