Karnataka PUC 2nd Year Results 2019 Date: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has declared the results of pre-university exams on Monday, April 15. The students who had appeared in the examination can check the results through the official websites– kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in. “The PUC II results will be announced on April 15 at 11 am. The students can check the results through the official websites- kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in after 12,” said PU education director C Shikha. The colleges will publish the results on April 16, the official mentioned.

Among districts, Udupi has this year again topped followed by Dakshin Kannada. The overall pass percentage is 61.73 per cent with girls outperforming boys by scoring 68.2 per cent. This year too, the rural schools have scored 62.88 per cent while the urban schools are at 61.38 per cent. Among streams, science students have scored 66.58 per cent and commerce at 66.39 per cent. There has been an overall increase of 2.15 per cent from the last year.

The exam was conducted in March 2018. To check the result, candidates can visit the official website and open the result link. In case the candidates are unable to access the aforementioned websites, which maybe down due to heavy traffic, they can visit examresults.net/karnataka to check their scores.
To clear the PUC exam, candidates need to secure 35 per cent aggregate marks. Students will need to score a minimum of 70 marks in the language papers and 30 marks each in individual subjects for a total of 210 out of 600 marks.

This year, around 8.41 lakh students have registered for the SSLC exam, while 6.73 lakh students for the PU II exam. Last year the PU II exam result was declared on April 30, while SSLC on May 7, 2019.
Last year, the result was released on April 30 and a total of 6,90,000 students appeared for the PUC 2nd exam. As many as 68 PU colleges have recorded 100 per cent passes, while in 118 PU colleges scored 0. However, the overall pass percentage has improved by 7.18 per cent from 52.38 per cent in 2017 to 59.56 per cent.

The girls had outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 67.11 per cent against 52.3 per cent. In 2017, the pass percentage of rural colleges is more than that of urban colleges (59.95 per cent against 59.45 per cent respectively).
