PM Narendra Modi meets his mother Heeraben Modi, takes her blessings in Gandhinagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took blessings from his mother Heeraben Modi at her residence in Gandhinagar. The prime minister casts his vote. Modi was also seen talking with local people during his visit. BJP national president Amit Shah is contesting polls from Gandhinagar. Earlier, BJP patriarch Lal Krishna Advani has represented the constituency. The third phase of polling is underway in Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and scattered seats in key states such as UP, Odisha, Bihar, Bengal and Chhattisgarh. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
