NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), popularly known as UP Board, has declared the results for Class 10 & 12 today i.e., April 27, 2019.
The UP Board 10th & 12th results has declared on the UPMSP official website - upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. Gautam Raghuvanshi from Kanpur won the first position with 97.17% marks for class 10 and Tanu Tomar from Bhagpat topped class 12 exam scoring 97.80%.
The overall pass percentage of UP Board class 10 result is 80.07% and class 12 result is 70.06%.

UP Secondary Education Board Secretary Neena Srivastava has released the results at a press conference, today at board's headquarters in Prayagraj.

Where to check UP 10th & 12th Results 2019
Students can know their results on the following websites:

Students should note that the results published on the website are for immediate information to the examinees.

The notice on the official website reads “Although every effort is made to maintain the accuracy of the results, error may creep in inadvertently due to extraneous reasons beyond the control of either NIC or the concerned Institution/board/university. Students are advised to verify their marks with the official hard copy issued from the respective Institution/board/university.”
Around 58 lakh students had appeared for both the UP board exams - class 10 and 12 examinations this year. Both Class 10th and Class 12th examinations started on February 7, 2019. The UP Board Class 10th examinations were ended on February 28 while Class 12th exams were concluded on March 2, 2019.
This year, UP education board had implemented several steps to avoid cases of cheating inside the examination hall. The board had also made it mandatory for invigilators and centre superintendents to bring Aadhaar card to the examination centres.
UP Board held the class 10 and 12 exams in coordination with the local administration and police department of all the 75 districts. All the UP examination centres were divided into sectors. Every sector had 12 to 15 centres which was moderated by Sub Divisional Magistrate or ACMs.

2018 UP Board Result Statistics
Last year the UP Board Class 10th and 12th results were declared on April 29, 2018. In 2018, the pass percentage for Class 12th was 72.43 per cent while for class 10th the pass percentage was 75.16 per cent.
Rajneesh Shukla from Fatehpur and Akash Maurya from Barabanki topped the Class 12th examination in 2018. Ananya Rai from Ghazipur stood second by scoring 92.6% while Abhishek Kumar from Moradabad, and Ajeet Patel from Barabanki secured third rank with 92.2%.
With 96.33 per cent marks Anjali Verma secured top position in 2018 Class 10th results, Fatehpur's Yashashvi ranked second scoring 94.5% while the third rank was jointly shared by Vinay Kumar (94.17%) and Sani Verma (94.17%).
What after Class 12th Results?
After appearing in Class 12th board examinations, the students start searching suitable courses for themselves. Many would try to get admissions in university colleges for pursuing B.A, B.Com, B.Sc. while many would try to get admissions in professional courses like NEET, JEE, polytechnic, ITIs, BBA, CA, Arts & Music courses.
The applications process for these courses either going on or in some institutes it is closed.
Choosing the course after twelfth class is the most difficult and challenging task for a student as well as parents.
As per the experts, students should choose course wisely and most importantly the course should be of their own choice and of their interest. In today's environment working conditions have changed, you can excel in the field which interests you the most.
Opting for a course, selected by parents or under peer pressure will not help you out in any case. So, choose the course in which you can work for many hours without considering it a burden and that will happen only when you choose a subject of your interest.
