Focus on Kamal Nath’s son in MP election today

Mr Rakesh Singh is locking horns with AICC legal cell chairman Vivek Tankha in Jabalpur.

Bhopal: Six Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh are going to polls in the first phase elections in the state on Monday.

Prominent among those whose fate would be decided in the April 29 polls included Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath’s son Nakul, state BJP president Rakesh Singh and former CLP leader Ajey Singh.

Mr Nath who has vacated Chhindwara LS seat that he represented nine times in a row for his son, is also contesting the byelection to the Chhind-wara Assembly seat. He is pitted against Viakash Sahu of BJP in a multi-cornered contest.

His son is facing BJP’s Nathan Sai Kavreti in Chhindwara parliamentary constituency.
