For the next two weeks, the district election officer plans to continue with more such awareness programme in the entire constituency

NEW DELHI: Around 800 schoolchildren participated in a marathon organised by the North West District Election Office in Rohini to make the voters aware about casting their ballots in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the capital on May 12, 2019. Besides schoolchildren, senior residents from the neighbourhood also came forward to participate in awareness programme.
The 4-kilometre marathon started from Vikas Bharti Public School, Sector 24, Rohini.
Satyendra Singh, district election officer for the North West parliamentary constituency also joined in the run. There was huge public response as locals pledged to support the election campaign and aware others too.
For the next two weeks, the district election officer plans to continue with more such awareness programme in the entire constituency.
