VARANASI: The Pragatishil Samajwadi Party candidate from Chandauli seat Subhash Chandra Agrawal landed in troubled waters, as an FIR was lodged against him at the Mughalsarai Kotwali police station on Sunday evening.

Mughalsarai inspector Shivanand Mishra told TOI over phone that the FIR was lodged on the complaint of the static team of election commission against Agrawal for violating model code of conduct.
He was booked under sections 171B (bribery) and 171C (undue influence at elections) of IPC.
