UP: Akhilesh addresses election rally in Kaushambi, opens his heart out
ALLAHABAD: Opening his heart out to the supporters and raising the issue of taps being removed from his former official residence, president of the Samajwadi Party and former chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav has said that in 2022 when Yogi Adityanath would lose the assembly elections, he would ask the same set of officers, who had raided the CM house, to search for ‘Chillum’ and they would not be permitted to leave the premises till they find it.

He was addressing a public meeting at Kaushambi, on Tuesday.
Lambasting the high numbers of encounter and incidences of police being targeted by public, in the present government in the state, the former CM said, “Aaj kal baba mukyamantri dwara thokoniti chalayi jaa rahi hai, police aur janta ko pata hi nahi kisko thokna hai” (The present Yogi government is following encounter policy but the public and police are not sure as to whom they have to target).
Further taking a jibe on Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya and his floating of a new party and contesting against BJP, he added, there are ‘Dhamkidaar’ in Kaushambi, who once used to say that they would give their life for promise they have made. Raja Bhaiya has floated a new party Jansatta Dal Loktantrik and has fielded its candidate both from Kaushambi and Pratapgrah.
“Iss baar thokidaar, dhamkidaar aur chowkidaar ko sabak sikhana hai” (this election voters would teach a lesson to these three people, referring to Prime Minister Modi, CM Yogi and Raj Bhaiya)
He advised the supporters not to be afraid of such elements and asked them, “dar to nahi jayenge”.
Ridiculing the CM on stopping the schemes like free laptops to students, SP cheif said, “Baba mukhyamantri laptop chalana nahi jaante isliye laptop nahi banta” (Yogi himself cannot operate laptop because of which he has stopped the scheme).
He termed Modi not as PM but as ‘Prachaar Mantri’.
Speaking on the SP-BSP coalition, he said, “This coalition is not mahamilawati but rather mahaparivartan gathbandhan which is going to give a new PM to the nation”.
He said that the present government has been harsh on the animals too because of which bulls are breaching the security and in fact ‘trying to submit their complaint to CM’.
