HYDERABAD: A 65-year-old homoeopath who allegedly misbehaved with a female patient was arrested by Chilkalguda police on Wednesday.
Chilkalguda police said the female patient approached the homoeopath, who runs a homoeopathy clinic at Mylargadda on Tuesday. As the victim was suffering with a skin disease, on the reference of known persons, she consulted the accused.
The accused asked the victim to come inside a room. On the pretext of checking heart beat, he allegedly touched her private parts.
The victim resisted his advance, ran from the clinic and explained her ordeal to her husband. Based on a complaint lodged by her, a case was registered against the accused under Sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 417 (punishment for cheating) of the IPC. He was arrested.
