National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting nation medical entrance exam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) 2019 on Sunday at various centres across the country.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) 2019, at various centres across the country. The NEET 2019 examination was conducted in pen and paper mode from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
Nearly 13 lakh candidates had appeared for NEET 2019 today at different centres in 154 cities. The admit card for the examination was released on April 15, 2019, on its official website.
The venue of the test was as indicated on the admit card. Candidates were asked to report at NEET examination centre at 12.00 noon.

Candidates were informed to reach examination centre at 12 noon as several formalities need to be done before the exam. Candidate were asked to carry a colour clear print out of NEET 2019 admit card in which the passport size photo is affixed. It is to be noted that the passport size photo should be the same as uploaded on the application form.

* The NEET 2019 examination is concluded at 5.00 pm.
* The total duration of the NEET 2019 examination is three hours. No candidates will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the exam.
* Candidates are not allowed to remove any page(s) from the Test Booklet and if any page(s) is/are found missing from his/her test booklet, he/she will be proceeded against and shall be liable for criminal action.

* More than 200 NEET aspirants from Ballari and other north Karnataka districts missed NEET exam, due to delay in arrival of Hampi express.
* A black ball point pen will be provided to candidates in the examination hall.
* Minimum 200 students from Ballari, Koppal are likely to miss NEET as the Hampi Express they are travelling by is still in Tumakuru. Medical aspirants blame the South Western railway services as the train started from Ballari only at 2 am on Sunday early morning, instead of its scheduled arrival at 10.30 pm on Saturday.
* Students who have brought only one photo with them in a Bengaluru centre are rushing to either get a photocopy of their photo or get it clicked.
* Candidate should avoid wearing jewellery like rings, earrings, nose-pin, chain or necklace, pendants, badge, and brooch, etc.
* Many students come to NEET exam centres with just a single picture. At a centre in Egmore, Chennai, they have arranged a photographer to take an instant photo and allow students to proceed with further formalities.
* Candidates are advised to cooperate with frisking. No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall without undergoing frisking.
* Candidates should bring one passport size photograph along with the NEET 2019 admit card to paste on the attendance sheet.
* Nearly 365 students may not be able to appear for NEET 2019 exam due to the delay in the train service.
