Lok Sabha election: Hooghly BJP candidate alleges ‘poll rigging’ by TMC

Locket Chatterjee, the BJP candidate from Hooghly Lok Sabha constituency, alleged that there was ‘poll rigging’ in the district and when she visited a poll booth to check the same she was confronted by the TMC goons. Locket said that she was heckled by the TMC goons, who were raising pro-Mamata Banerjee slogans and she asked her supporters to raise ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans to counter them. There are reports of violence incidents across West Bengal during fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls.
