The entrance exams for admissions to medical colleges, NEET 2019 was scheduled to be held tomorrow but the same is being postponed for Odisha amid request from neighbouring states including West Bengal for postponement.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘SSCL result link’
Step 3: A new page will open. Enter roll number and click on submit
Step 4: Results will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and take a print out for further reference.
The pass percentage of Kerala SSLC class 10 exam is on the rise since 2015. It would be worth seeing if the same keeps on maintaining the upwards slope for the fifth consecutive year.

The board exams were held from March 13 to 28 in which over 4.35 lakh students appeared across 2,923 centres in the state and nine centres each in Lakshadweep and Gulf countries. A total of 2,12,615 girls appeared for the exams. The government had set up 54 centralised camps for the valuation of the answer sheets which began on April 5 and ended on May 2.
The Kerala government will declare the results of Secondary School Leaving
Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 board examination today. In a release, the education department said, Education Minister C Raveendranath would hold a press conference here at 2 pm to announce details of the results. To ease the result declaration process, the Kerala government has shared the results with various partner websites – kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in, results.itschool.gov.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in, educationkerala.gov.in. The results will also be available at their official app, “Saphalam” which is available for download from Google Playstore.

Last year, the cut-off for the general category was (691-119), Other Backward Class was (118-96), Scheduled Class and Scheduled Tribe was (118-96).
Over 15 lakh students who had appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2019) on Sunday, May 5 found the paper moderate, with Physics most difficult. Speaking to indianexpress.com, Debarati Halder, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kolkata said, "The paper was moderate, however, the Physics portion was really tough to answer." The student rated Chemistry and Mathematics the easiest of all. Another student Dattatreya Mukherjee said, "The Physics portion was tough and lengthy, however, the rest of the question was quite easy to answer."
Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah criticised Indian Railways for their incapabilities saying, "Mr. @narendramodi, You pat your own back for others' achievements but will you also take the responsibility for your cabinet min' incapabilities. Hundreds of students in Karnataka may not be able to take up NEET because of delay in the train services."
Over 500 students appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Test) in Karnataka have missed the examination as the Hampi express delayed for over six hours on Sunday.The 16591- Hampi Express en route to Bengaluru reached at 2:30 pm, an hour after the scheduled reporting time, 1:30 pm. The Class 10 result will also be available via SMS, the numbers are 52001 (MTNL), 57766 (BSNL), 5800002 (Aircel), 55456068 (Idea), 54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices), 54321202 (Airtel), and 9212357123 (National Informatics Centre). This year, the board will also provide Class 10 digital marksheets on DigiLocker at http://digilocker.gov.in.
Students can also view their results on UMANG mobile application. The results can also be received by sending an SMS — cbse10<rollno> <sch no> <center no> — to 7738299899.
The CBSE results will be available on the net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC). The students can access their marks through the following websites — results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. In case, these websites are inaccessible, students can view their marks at bing.com. The schools will automatically get their entire results on email id’s already registered with the CBSE.
The compartment exams for both class 12 and class 10 will begin from June 1, 2019 and will be conducted in two shifts - the morning shift will begin at 8:45 am and conclude at noon while the evening shift will be held from 1:45 am to 5 pm. Check entire date sheet here
The results of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MP board) class 10, 12 examinations will be declared by May 16, 2019. Speaking to indianexpress.com, the board secretary Ajay Gangwar hinted that the results are likely to be declared by the third week. “The results of both 10th and 12th will be released on the second week of May, between May 14-16.” Both the results will be declared on the same date,” the board secretary said. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the class 10 board exam results on Monday, May 7 2019 at its official website cbse.nic.in. While the officials have not confirmed the exact date, the result is expected to be declared ion Monday. The Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala has invited applications for the integrated five-year LLB course on its official website, cee-kerala.org. The applications are on and the last date to apply is May 8, 2019. Interested candidates need to apply on or before the deadline to be eligible for admissions. Those who successfully submit the application form will be eligible for appearing for the entrance exam. Based on the marks scored in the entrance exam, candidates will be allotted seats. The ICSE Class 10 examinations was conducted from February 22, while the ISC Class 12 examinations held from February 4.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TBSIE) has released the date sheet or exam time table for the supplementary exams at its official website, bie.telangana.gov.in. The exams will begin from May 16, 2019 for both first and second-year intermediate students and will conclude on May 27, 2019. The practical exams will be conducted from May 28 to May 31, 2019. The ethics and humans value exam will be held on June 1, 2019 from 10 am to 1 pm and the environmental education exam will be conducted on June 3, 2019 from 10 am to 1 pm. Read full date sheet here.
To clear the exam, candidates need at least 35 per cent marks in the subject. From 2018 onwards, the board has stopped giving grace marks to increase the pass percentage. The overall pass percentage in the class 10 exams in 2018 was 59.47 per cent in 2018.

In a major development, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG for admission to medical colleges in India and abroad has been postponed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) - the exam conducting body. The exam was scheduled to be conducted tomorrow - May 5, 2019 but now the new dates will be announced for the same. The postponement is done only for those from Odisha or those whose center falls in Odisha state. The NTA is yet to announce the new dates. For rest, the exam date remains May 5, 2019. A total of 94,299 students secured over 90 per cent marks and 17,693 secured over 95 per cent marks. As many as 99,207 candidates got compartment this year. The percentage of students scoring above 95% has gone up by 38.4% — a factor which is likely to hugely affect the Delhi University cut-off lists for undergraduate admissions. While 72,599 students had scored above 90% last year, the figure is 94,299 this year — an increase of 29.9%. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora from Ghaziabad and Muzaffarnagar are the toppers this year, scoring 499 marks out of 500.
This year, girls have outperformed all with 88.70 per cent pass percentage followed by transgenders with 83.33 per cent while only 79.40 per cent boys cleared the exam.
The highest performing region was Trivandrum with 98.20 per cent followed by Chennai with 92.93 per cent and Delhi secured the third spot with 91.87 per cent pass percentage
The pass percentage of students has increased slightly this year ( by 0.39 per cent).
The board claims to have checked over 67 lakh answer booklets this year. The maximum number of students who appeared for the exam in one day was 19 lakhs across 79,000 classes. Since the number of students has increased from 11,06,772 (11.06 lakh) last year to 12,05,484 (12.05 lakh) students this year, 500 more exam centres were involved.
CBSE chairperson Ankita Karwal said, “Over 1.75 lakh teachers were involved at different levels of the examination including invigilators, observers etc. This is a 40 per cent increase from last year.” She added that the board also increased the number of trained people to upload the data. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Thursday declared the result for the class 12 board exams within a record time of 28 days. The exams were concluded on March 4. While this is a new record, the board aims to keep this as a standard practice.
