CBSE class X result: Two students from Mathura secure position among top 10 in Allahabad region

Two students, Kaushal Singh and Sanchali Sharma from Mathura, with 497 and 496 marks respectively are among the top 10 candidates of class 10 exams of Allahabad Region of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the result of which were declared on Monday.

AGRA: Two students, Kaushal Singh and Sanchali Sharma from Mathura, with 497 and 496 marks respectively are among the top 10 candidates of class 10 exams of Allahabad Region of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the result of which were declared on Monday.
Talking to TOI, Kaushal Singh from Shriji Baba Saraswati Vidya Mandir, who secured 99.4% and secured 93rd position in the country’s toppers list, said that he was expecting good marks but not this much.
Singh said, “regular studies are more important than counting study hours and thats what I do”. He said, he wants to be an IAS officer and serve the country.
Sanchali Sharma, a student of RLPKD Vidya Mandir Govardhan told TOI that her results were as per her expectations. She said, “I want to become an engineer”. In an advise to her peers she said that students should focus on their studies rather than thinking on the marks, as it can spoil the result.
Her father, Gopal Krishna Sharma, who works as a clerk in the same school, got emotional and said that it was really a big thing for him. “No one in my family has ever secured a position which is among the top students' list,” he said, adding that Sanchali had made him immensely proud.
Yogesh Kumar Gupta from Jaunpur topped with 499 marks in the region, Ayushi Pushkar and Isha Srivastava from Lucknow and Guarav Singh from Chandauli bagged the second position with 498 marks, while Kaushal from Mathura along with three other students bagged the third position by securing 497 marks. Six students including Sanchali secured 496 marks and secured position among top 10 candidates in the region.
The overall pass percentage of Allahabad region is 92.55%. At least 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh fall under this region.
