The CBSE results will be available on the net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC). The students can access their marks through the following websites — results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. In case, these websites are inaccessible, students can view their marks at bing.com. The schools will automatically get their entire results on email id’s already registered with the CBSE.
This year, in CBSE class 12 result girls have outperformed boys. The top rank is secured by two girls – Hansika Shukla and Kanika Sharma. Both secured 499/500.
The pass percentage of candidates who appeared for the exam in Delhi region rose from 78.62% in 2018 to 80.97 in 2019.
Among districts, Trivandrum scored highest 99.85 per cent followed by Chennai at 99 per cent. Ajmer is at number three with 95.89 per cent while Panchkula is at 93.72. Here are pass percentage of other districts:

In class 12, Bihar and Jharkhand regions pass percentage is at 66.73, far inferior to its national pass percentage of 83.40 per cent. Girls in the Bihar and Jharkhand region performed far better than boys, with 76.08 per cent of girls clearing the exam compared to only 61.57 per cent of boys. Still, the Class 12 board results have come as a blow to students — of 1,00,698 students had appeared for the exam from 1,300 CBSE-affiliated schools between February 15 and April 4 — across the region.

Schools under the Delhi Region are advised to collect the results from the office of the respective Zonal office of Deputy Director of Education after the declaration of the result by confirming the time with them.
Like last year, this year too, Microsoft had partnered with the CBSE to provide results through their app SMS organiser app. Students and parents can pre-register on SMS Organiser and receive the results as soon as they are announced by CBSE, even without internet connectivity.
From 2019, the Central Board of Secondary Education has relaxed the passing criteria for Class 10 students. The students need to get a minimum of 33 per cent marks in theory and practical combined to declare pass in the subject. This means there will be no need for them to secure 33 per cent separately in both board exams and internal assessments. However, the board has not revised the passing marks for Class 12 examinations.

Hearing-impaired student Lavanya Balakrishnan is the CBSE Class 12 topper in the persons with disabilities category. With 97.3 per cent marks, the Gurgaon girl wants to pursue a career in design. A student of the Heritage School here, Balakrishnan has scored a perfect 100 in political science. "I love the subject but I want to pursue a career in designing. I always made it a point to not study beyond six hours a day but I adopted the policy throughout the year rather than just struggling before the exams," she told PTI.
The number of students appearing for the Class 12 exams also rose from 2,13,487 to 2,38,729. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of Class 12 examinations on Thursday with Delhi ranking third in terms of pass percentage after Trivandrum and Chennai.
Though girls have outperformed boys in the Class 12th results, but among KVS schools, the boys have outshone girls. “A total of 32,640 boys passed the examination, while 30,586 girls cleared the examination successfully,” the notification mentioned.
Started in 2016, this year also CBSE will provide Class X digital academic documents (Marksheets, Migration Certificate & Pass Certificate) through its own academic repository ‘Parinam Manjusha’ which is integrated with DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE.

In mathematics class 10 board exam 2020, students will also have an option of choosing the difficulty level of their mathematics exam. Those who opt for an easier version, however, could not take mathematics as a major subject in higher studies. According to an official circular by the CBSE released in 2018, the current mathematics subject will be called mathematics-standard and the easier level will be called mathematics-basic. The same will be introduced from 2020 onwards as well.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting two-level exams for class 10 mathematics and English papers from 2020 onwards. According to a notice accessed by the indianexpress.com, a total of 20 marks will be assigned for school-based assessment in each of the exams.
In order to be considered for the board exams, students will have to clear the school-based exams first. Such a system was being followed in some of class 12 subjects exams earlier and now has been extended for class 10 board exams too.
Talking to indianexpress.com, Anurag Tripathi, secretary, CBSE said that the board aims to create this a new norm and announce the result within a months’ time for all board exams, every year.

The pass percentage of class 10 is on the decline since 2016. From 96.21% in 2016 to 93.06% in 2017 and 86.07% last year (in 2018). This year the same is expected to rise.
The re-evaluation or verification process has begun for class 12 and will be the same for class 10 as well. Microsoft announced their association with the CBSE for hosting the result through their app SMS organiser. This app can be used even when the students go offline. The candidates have to register with their roll number, school code and the date of birth to be able to access their marks. Tech-giant Google has partnered with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to make finding results and other exam-related information easier. Beginning with the JEE Main exam results that were released last month, students just have to go to the google.com and type CBSE result to get the link. Students can now quickly, securely and seamlessly locate their score in various exams on their smartphone or desktop using Google Search.
