It will be a battle for survival for some teams who needs to strike now to keep their hopes alive with three rounds remaining.

Rewa, Tailevu and Northland must find a way out and buck the trend by toppling the big guns this weekend.

Northland, sitting on 5points (win over Rewa, bonus loss to Nadi), play defending champion and unbeaten Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori today .

It’s a game the Watisoni Ratulevu-coached side must try to defy the odds.

With some of the players playing for the Swire Shipping Fijian Latui at Churchill Park, Lautoka tomorrow, Suva will not be a depleted side as they have strength in depth in their bench.

Tailevu vs Nadi

After scoring their first win (4pts) against Rewa last week, the Timoci Tinaviti-coached side should make use of the opportunity by scoring their second win at home.

Both teams are on their rebuilding phase utilizing players from the club competition which augurs well for the future. It should be an exciting match tomorrow.

Rewa vs Namosi

Rewa (2pts, two bonus loss) must make use of their home ground advantage and try to score their first win at Burebasaga tomorrow.

It has been a close call along for the Ro Alifereti Doviverata-coached side going down to Northland (12-16), Naitasiri (19-27) and Tailevu (21-25).

This is the right time to strike for Rewa to stay on the hunt with three rounds remaining.

Naitasiri vs Nadroga

Apart from Suva, Naitasiri is the other unbeaten team in competition and will face a stern test against the Stallions at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka tomorrow.

Fresh from their bonus win over Northland last week, Nadroga aim to score their second win at home while the Highlanders will aim to keep their unbeaten streak intact.
