Michel Roux, Jason Atherton and Tom Kerridge team up for Hospitality Action charity dinner

Star-studded: Atherton, Kerridge and Roux will all cook together for one night only

Seven of the country’s top chefs will cook together for a one-off charity dinner next month in aid of Hospitality Action.

Michel Roux, Jason Atherton and Tom Kerridge will be among the high-profile names on the star-studded line-up, who will come together on June 17 to prepare a four-course dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

The chefs will be joined by fellow Hospitality Action patrons Gary Usher of Chester’s Sticky Walnut, acclaimed chef Paul Heathcote, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s Ashley Palmer-Watts and Nigel Haworth of Northcote.

They will also be joined by celebrity chef Brian Turner, who will host a live auction on the night. Unique prizes up for grabs include a dinner for 18 people in the private dining room at Kerridge’s Bar and Grill, Tom Kerridge’s acclaimed restaurant at the Corinthia Hotel in London.

Michel Roux is the founder of three Michelin-starred restaurant The Waterside Inn in Bray, one of just five restaurants to hold such an accolade in the UK. Roux and his brother Albert also opened Le Gavroche in London, which is now run by nephew Michel Roux Jr.

Internationally celebrated chef and restaurateur Jason Atherton counts seven London restaurants in his portfolio and many more around the world, while Tom Kerridge is best known for his work at The Hand and Flowers in Marlow, the only pub in the country to hold two-Michelin stars.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards Hospitality Action, a charity first established in 1837 which assists those who work, or have worked, in the hospitality industry who find themselves in crisis.

The Hospitality Action dinner will take place on June 17 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, 66 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7LA. Tickets cost £140 per person, and can be purchased at hospitalityaction.org.uk
